Thanks for visiting Miracahills (miracles+Cahill – my last name) a blog about amazing, miraculous, unexplainable things.
I’m a mother and wife, as well as a full-time freelance writer, reporter and photographer. I write and do photography work regularly for community newspapers, regional and national magazines and book publishers.
I have stories and/or photographs published in HCI’s The Ultimate Gardener and The Ultimate Bird Lover books. I write features and take photographs for Ruralite, Farm & Ranch Living and several other magazines.
I published my first novel, Mist in October, 2012. It came out in paperback in December, 2012. This supernatural romantic suspense is about a young widow, an old flame, a fortune-teller and a pack of evil dogs. The theme is about losing loved ones, navigating through the grief process, and moving on positively with life – much like the content of some of my blog posts. I started Mist the month following my mother’s death. It’s for sale at Amazon, among other places:
I have another WordPress blog about photography at www.cahillphotojournalism.com. I hope you’ll visit me there, too.
If you have a story to share that fits in with miracles, visions and amazing stuff, please find me on Facebook: Danita Shattuck Cahill and message me privately. Or email me at email@example.com. You could be the next guest blogger on Miracahills!
Be happy. Believe.
